I enjoyed my stay at Hotel Casa Margarita, as it offered a clean and cozy room equipped with a TV, safe, and comfortable bedding. The location was great, within walking distance of shops and cafes, adding to my experience.

Oh boy, the food scene around Casa Margarita is buzzing! Trattoria Catanzaro and El Argentino are just a hop away, serving mouthwatering dishes that made my solo foodie heart sing. My room was cozy and spotless, and the terrace view while sipping coffee added a cherry on top of my delightful mornings!

Now, while the ground floor gets a bit lively with restaurant chatter, which might rattle early risers, it's all part of the vibrant ambiance down here. Plus, that wooden shutter can feel cozy, even if it limits some light!

The ground floor rooms face a noisy courtyard restaurant!!! A lack of bedside tables can greatly reduce convenience!!! Consider getting rooms upstairs or further away from the restaurant for a quieter experience!!!

I stayed for 3 nights in a Standard Queen Room. It was cozy and clean, and the bed was comfortable! There’s a great little terrace for breakfast with nice views of the surrounding buildings. The only downside was the noise from the courtyard restaurant. it was a bit loud in the morning. The bathroom took a while to get hot water, but once it did, it was fine. Overall, nice stay!

This was just a prime choice for an overnight stay in San Cristobal de las Casas with very good value for money. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom provided hot water quickly after a short wait. Consider asking for a room away from the courtyard for a quieter stay.
